- I have been married for 26 years and have two sons who are the joys of my life. I love being a mom more than anything. I have my educational specialist degree. I taught Gen Ed Middle Grades for 5 years then stayed home with my boys for 10 years and homeschooled them for 3 years (I loved it and should have done it longer.) I went back to work in 2000 in special education- became certified and taught self contained students(6th -8th grade) with emotionally behavior disorders. Loved it- I was appropriatly placed. I miss my students. I have been working out of the district office for 3 years. I travel between schools and work with the teachers and staff. I do training, write intial eligibilties, make sure all due process paperwork is in order, etc.... I am considering a change- maybe back to the classroom. I am looking at the alternative school- for me the badder the better.
